Task:

We were tasked with creating a short film in the style of "Film Noir".

Film Noir is an old detective thriller genre, created in the 40's; it is generally set in a dark city filled with crime and corruption, USUALLY there is a "Hard Boiled Detective" with a "Femme Fatale" somewhere in the story. Film Noir is described as "oneiric (dreamlike), strange, erotic (sexual/ motivated by sex), ambivalent (unclear - morally), and cruel."

I made a 2 minute film using these thoughts in mind, as seen in the YouTube Video. I worked by myself for this project, it is the first time doing so. I decided to focus on being the director of this production.

We also made a Commentary on our film project, describing what we wanted to happen, what did happen and what we would improve. It should be placed somewhere on the screen.
